I am impressed with the entire process. Called and we discussed the measurements and placed the order on a Monday, delivered by UPS on Thursday and installed in about 2.5 hours by myself. Runs great and also comes in handy for heavy suitcases.

I installed the lift the day it arrived, in about four hours.  I was concerned about the thick carpet on the steps, but once everything was tightened up if was fine.  It works great and my wife is overjoyed with the stairlift.  Our options were moving to a single story house, or modifying our existing house so my wife could have a bedroom and bath downstairs.  This was the easiest and most economical option, and actually the best.

I was able to install the lift myself in a few hours.  No problems, everything fit perfectly.  Thanks for your help with the measurements.  The length fits exactly and we are able to keep the child-proof gate installed at the top of the stairs so our younger children are still safe.  It rides very smooth and quiet, our son really enjoys riding it and he especially enjoys the access to our homes lower level with the recreation and theater rooms.  I have already recommended your Summit lifts to several other people.  Thanks again!
