Thank
you for locating and making available the Bathmaster Sonaris Bathlift. My
mother, soon to celebrate her 83rd birthday and a survivor of three
recognizable strokes is in Bath Time Heaven! She is determined
to retain her independence for as long as she can and taking a bath
is a key component to that independence. Each night she would struggle in
and out of the tub and further complicated the process by using the tub-chair as
her support to help submerge herself in the tub--for her a bath is not a bath
until one sits in the tub. All-in-all, the evening bath would last 1-1/2
hour. As time passed she became more and more discouraged that soon she
would have to give up her most precious submerged bath because it was getting
more and more difficult. As I researched bathlifts, I realized mom
would prefer to remain upright, and most lifts automatically reclined so imagine
the joy I had when I noticed the Sonaris answered all of my concerns. Now
mom is in total control…a “place “ she loves to be (in
control, that is)
and my safety concerns have been reduced dramatically. Now, she is in and
out of the bath in less than an hour and we can get on with the evening with
ease! I
