Simple to clean
Cleaning the bath lift couldn’t be simpler. The Neptune has smooth, open surfaces, which are less likely to attract dirt, and with no compulsory fabric covers allowing grime to accumulate, cleaning times are much reduced.

To complement the cleaning process, all Neptunes are manufactured with a silver-based antimicrobial solution, effective in protecting against harmful bacteria including MRSA, C Diff and the difficult-to-clean black mould.

Easy to use
The waterproof Neptune handset is easy to both operate and hold. Its slimline shape ensures that even the smallest of hands or those with conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis are able to grip it. When this isn’t possible, the strong suckers make a securely adhesion to either the side of the bath or the wall!

Large rocker switches make operating the Neptune easy. The controls are large, raised and positive to the touch requiring minimal user pressure. The large switches enable people with weaker hands/fingers to operate with stronger areas of the body such as the palm of the hand, elbow or press against a hard surface. The distinguishable, white arrows which are also raised ensure that operation is also easy for visually impaired users. A battery status monitoring system indicates the charge level of the battery. A safety feature is also included that will not allow the bath lift to descend if there is insufficient charge for a complete bathing cycle.

Charging the Neptune is straightforward. The battery is connected to the hand control so is easily accessible and for utilising the same method of connection for both the hand control and charger, this eliminates any confusion.


Fitting and removing the Neptune is simplicity itself. The seat and base frame can be easily separated without twisting, stretching and bending to press difficult to reach locking mechanisms. Transporting the Neptune couldn’t be easier. Its two lightweight sections can be carried compactly around obstacles and its slimline shape allows it to fit into the smallest of car boots.

Just wanted to let you know my mother, who is 84 years old, used the chair for the first time last Weds. She has not been able to use the bathtub for years due to her instability. Her reaction was "wonderful" and she remained in the tub until the water went cold.

Much to my delight, the Neptune bath lift arrived very quickly and in excellent condition. I charged it up and installed it in my mom's tub. At first, she was afraid of it and wouldn't use it unless I was there! So I drove every other day for an hour and a half to her home and back so that she could bathe. Then a couple of weeks later she announced proudly that she had finally taken a bath the evening before by herself. It is simply wonderful to have given my mother a new lease on life.
