How easy (hard) did you find the job? Very easy with two people.

Any comments or digital photos that you would like to share? I would recommend adding a few lines to the installation instructions explaining that the L-brackets should be positioned back far enough on the stair treads (especially on the wall side) so that they do not cover the upper channel through which the return switch cable has to be routed. We had to go back and loosen a few brackets in order to run the cable; not a big problem, but it added time and effort.

How do you like it? Tastes great; less filling! A true life saver for my friend, who would otherwise not be able to get to the second story of his home of 35 years.

Any feedback? Fast shipping, great price, everything as advertised. Measuring, ordering, installing and using are very simple and straight forward. Thank you for offering a great product at a very fair price.

Ordered the Stairlift on Tuesday and it was delivered on Friday and I had it installed by Monday afternoon. Would have had it by Friday afternoon, but once again I was out of town and did not get back until late Sunday night. My mom and dad are really pleased and it is such a help to them and it is wonderful to restore mobility to my parents and allow them to use their basement once again. John, I have been working on several home project at the same time as the new stair lift.

As a result, installation time would fall into the average range.

I very much like the new power indicator light compared to the older model. It is very helpful at the top of the stairs as a night light. Perhaps you could design a power light into the

bottom of the track for use at night .

Aloha John
We mean to get some photos taken...my Mom was feeling much better by the time the lift was put in, and making noises about it being silly, but as you predicted, we are finding it very useful! A case of wine fits very neatly on the seat, and we can pile all our groceries on it for ascension, plus Mom now loves it after she has been up and down under her own steam a few times and is tired. Many of the rest of us find it novel and restful, and are practicing our “queen Elizabeth” wave as we go up and down! Small kids (under strict adult supervision) find it as good a a carnival ride! We are thinking of charging them! All in all, it is quite a hit!
The two friends who installed the chair lift took up the challenge of installing it in under 2 1/2 hours and made it triumphantly just under the wire! Some extraneous things like moving the old handrail and trimming the gate (it’s an outside staircase) at the bottom added a little bit of time, but not much! They followed the instructions step by step and it all went very smoothly, even with the family kibbitzing on the sidelines!
We are very happy that the chair came so promptly and was so easy to install. My Mom’s heart doctor was very pleased at the price and asked us for information to pass on to other patients, which we will certainly provide him!

I installed the lift the day it arrived in about four hours. I was concerned about the thick carpet on the steps, but once everything was tightened up if was fine. It works great and my wife is overjoyed with the lift. Our options were moving to a single story house, or modifying our existing house so my wife could have a bedroom and bath downstairs. This was the easiest and most economical option, and actually the best.

John, I wanted to let you Know that I installed the Summit Chairlift purchased through you this last weekend. I have built and installed many things in my life from cars to building complete houses. I had no problem with the assembly of the Summit Stair lift. All that parts were there, the instructions were understandable, the whole thing went together in about 3.5 hours. Finally installed the chairlift. Took three people about three hours to completely install. The most time consuming task was installing an electrical outlet in the floor at the top. Storage area under stairwell and landing made it manageable. Moved unit away from wall to leave handrail on both sides and to completely avoid radiator at top. Looking forward to many years of trouble free operation. Don

We received the Bath Tub Lift on April 4th. After charging the battery for the recommended 3 hours, I put the lift into the tub. My wife tried it out on a dry run and everything works fine. The lift comes back up to a comfortable level for her to stand and then step out of the tub. As she has a problem standing for any lentgh of time it is difficult for her to use the shower. She also cannot rise from a sitting position. WIth the Bath Tub Lift she is now able to take a nice long soak in the tub.

Reasons To Choose a Summit Stairlift
	1. Peace of Mind The Summit stairway lift was designed by a four-man team to make sure nothing was missed. Footrest safety sensors stop the lift in either direction should it strike anything on the stairs. The seat is equipped with a seat belt and a safety switch that prevents the unit from running unless the seat is in its proper position. Low Maintenance Occasionally lubricating the track is the only maintance required. Unlike most lifts that have gearboxes with vent plugs, the gearbox on the Summit Lift is completely sealed, preventing the possibility of oil leaking onto your carpet. Virtually all other lifts also use gear racks and pinion gears (rack and pinion) to drive the lift. These must be lubricated with dust-collecting grease to prevent damage from occurring. Summit Lifts believes dust collecting greases belong in your garage - not in your home.	6. Security Why use eight rollers when four will work? Why make the parts ourselves when purchasing them overseas is cheaper? Why use an aircraft cable strong enough to tow a car? Why test each lift before it is shipped? Why use UL and CSA listed components on all electrical components? Why hand-assemble each piece?
